Howdy! Today is the day that I am participating in pin it forward, a fun blogging mashup up started by sfgirlbybay and pinterest. I’ve started to build some interesting inspiration boards in pinterest, but keep finding more wonderful things to add every day. And, more importantly, I find great things other people put out there for me.
and so, here’s a little glimpse of what home means to me…

I was born in Philadelphia, PA, and although I've never been a fan of visiting center city, I love the idea of the city especially as it's portrayed in Rocky. Makes me proud to be a Philadelphian.

As my bumper sticker says, "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could" There's something magical about Texas that makes everyone who comes here feel at home. I'm Texas proud! So happy we've moved here.

When I learned we were moving away from our families and to an unknown city, I was devastated, but then I realized that wherever I go with my husband, that's home. Hokey sounding I know, but true nonetheless.

Some of my fondest memories are of sitting around Aunt Doris' kitchen table playing games with my family.

Any time is a good time to watch TV. When I was little the family all watched Dallas. Now my family gathers for LOST, Bones, and CSI

This isn't my craft room, but I wish it was. So pretty. Sometimes, home means having all your stuff just where you left it.

I really associate home with family and comfort. Having pictures all around me of my family is truly a comfort to me.

My favorite spot in my house is my kitchen. Heart of the home. And mine is decorated with lots of vintage tin signs. It's my favorite room in my house.
Pinterest is by INVITATION ONLY… if you would like to be invited please leave a comment and your email address and I’ll send you one.
