I don’t know about you, but I tend to say yes to everyone. Even if they don’t expressly ask, I offer a yes. I’d love to do that for you, I can do that, oh, let me do that…

Renegade is coming! Renegade is coming!

I can’t even tell you how much fun I had at this show last year. I went both days and I still don’t think I saw everything or everyone that was there. So, this year I’ll plan on visiting again with the intention of applying to sell at the show the following year. I’m looking forward to seeing my blogging buddy @TweetRenee from Robo Roku again this year along with a host of other artists I admire. Are you planning on attending?

Finished Chloe and Mieko Tshirts

It took a little longer than I thought it would, but it was worth it. I finished the Living With Punks sew along. We made Pink Fig’s Chloe & Meiko Tshirt applique designed tshirt to send to the deserving children in Japan. Read more here. Here’s my contribution. One girl and one boy version.

It’s not too late [Japan Relief]

Who wants a free blog design?

OK. So, here’s what I’ve been up to lately. For those of you who don’t know, during the day I work as a webmaster for the largest independent IT training provider in the world. (We’re kind of a big deal.) At night I get crafty as often as possible. Last year I started my own website based on a blog layout. It’s easy to keep updated without needing fun (and expensive) programs like Dreamweaver which I use to maintain my websites at work.

My husband is not an overly emotional guy. And I don’t need him to be. He is very funny and fun to be with. He’s got a great sense of humor, and he’s still the first person I call when I have good news to share, or need some support in a bad time. Do you love crocheting?

So do I. I love to crochet. I love to buy yarn. I love to look at yarn. I’m mildly obsessed. Ask anyone that knows me and they can attest to this. So about a year ago or so, I designed this tshirt design with every intention of just having it printed for myself, which I did. Challenge Issued to Myself

So, while I’m a little out of the demographic for Urban Outfitters, I still love the style of the clothes and lucky for me I have my own personal 6-foot tall “doll” that I can dress up in their fabulous outfits. But as I was perusing their latest email advertisement showing some cute little sun dresses, I came across this beauty.

I just love the color and the style, but not the price tag. This dress is selling for $260. This inspired me to challenge myself to craft a dress similar in style myself. So, you’re all my witnesses. [...]

Yudu Trial and Review

I finally got over my fear of the unknown and conquered my Yudu. I won’t say it was fun. Because it wasn’t. I found the directions completely lacking, but the freedom to design and “instantly” print it on everything that isn’t nailed down in the craft room is pretty exciting.

I HEART Red Heart Moon and Stars

So, I ran out of yellow cotton Sugar & Creme on a baby shower order I was working on so I had to make a “quick” stop at Michaels to pick up some more on the way home from work.
